Fenghuang Dancong tea is one of the green tea varieties. It is a semi-fermented tea belongs to oolong tea.It is one of the six major teas in China.

Fenghuang Dancong Tea, a special product of Chao'an District, Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province, China's National Geographical Indication Product.

FHDC tea has a production history of more than 900 years.Chaozhou,the main producing area,is one of the three major oolong tea producing areas in China.

The Chaozhou Phoenix Mountain, the main production area of Fenghuang Dancong tea, is located in Fenghuang Town, about 40 km north of Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province. It has a subtropical maritime climate, and the planting area is mainly between 800-1500 m above sea level.

In order to improve the quality of tea, people observe and appraise, implement the method of single plant picking, single plant tea production, and single plant sales.

Outstanding individual plants were isolated and planted, and named by tree. At that time, more than 10,000 excellent ancient tea trees were harvested by single plant, so it was called Fenghuang Dancong(single cluster) tea.

The finished tea leaves are thick, straight, yellowish-brown in color, oily and shiny, and has cinnabar red dots; the brewing fragrance is long-lasting, the taste is strong and fresh, and the throat is sweet, and has a unique mountain charm.
